Over the course of a year, Manchester-born Daley has blessed the world with three fine works of soulful art in his EPs, Those Who Wait, Alone Together, and Songs That Remind You Of Me, and soon we’ll get to hear his debut album, Days & Nights, which he’s been working on with Pharrell Williams and The Roots' Questlove. Daley’s first single off the LP, Broken, will make you want to cry and dance at the same damn time: he decorates the slow-building slice of breakbeat with warm vocals and emotive lyrics, and its presentation couldn’t be more British.
