This little review is only from what I can remember. I was so mash-up it was unreal. So, yeah...
I went to an event called iRave in Leicester the other night (big up Chris Hogg, Santi and Bob) and although there was a lack of bassline (I only heard DJ Q on set), I did enjoy myself with the crew dem. Everyone from Newham Genrals and P Money, to Ms Dynamite and Scorcher performed on the night, but the guys who got me going absolutely sicker on the balcony (VIP ting obviously! LOLZ) were some guys who go by the name of Slew Dem. They took it back to the old days and did a nice little set for the ravers. I slyly thought the dance was gonna get locked off at one point due to the epic amounts of moshing, even the ladies were going at it.
Another act that tore it down was P Money. He opened up his set on an old skool grime tip (I can't actually remember what tune it was now. Please see first line of post) and that got everyone on a mad one. We certainly need more events like this, it was the definition of #TEAMUK! Oh yeah, big up Maverick Sabre, Jamie StayFresh and co who I randomly bumped into as well...
