a moment of sanity. so that i may proceed with courage. tears form but do not fall. much like the smile lost love strips away. this life is filled with all i need. yet still i am hollow with despair. bestow upon me the virtue of patience. help restore hope that falters. take my sorrow and hold with both hands. clasped in a prayer traveling from my lips to your ears. for only you i trust with all i have. with all i do not have. let faith blind me. least i forget that it was you who taught me how to see.
