TV Production and Bassline heavyweights AS IT IS TV recently went to the Motherland aka Africa, Gambia. 'It was the best time of my life and I can't wait to go back', said promoter Don P, Marcus Nasty added, 'they were loving me and the Funky'. I was told the African people were feeling the Bassline hardcore though, them loving Funky isn't surprising seeing as it has African influences in it's sound anyway, apparently the UK Bassline folk even had them doing the legendary Vogue Skank. By the looks of the video footage it looks like it was a big one, I shall be there next year, I will make it my mission!
